US Civil War 1/4 Plate Tintype Two Young Soldiers Armed

US Civil War 1/4 Plate Tintype Two young soldiers. One is armed with a rifle and he has an extra bayonet sheathed on his belt. The other has a pistol stuck in his belt. The buttons, buckles, and epaulets are tinted gold; the soldier on the left's stripes are tinted red and he has red tinting on his cheeks. A very interesting image. The image does have quite a bit of dirt of some kind stuck to it. I don't know if you could have a professional photo restoration done, but it looks like oily or sticky residue on the surface of the image. Still a very neat picture. There is no case, just the plate, but it does come in a baseball card style sleeve (as pictured), The image size is 4 1/16"x 2 1/4". It has irregular edges so I don't know if it might have be cut or if that's how it was.
These are from my dad's collection, so while I'm knowledgeable on some items, others not so much if I don't have the original auction page. If you see a mistake let me know an I'll update the information.
