    Description

    Original 1/4 plate ambrotype of Green Speights, Company D, 6th Florida Infantry, information scratched onto the glass above his head. This is a clear glass ambrotype behind mat and glass, with a piece of black velvet placed in the case behind.  It is in half of a case, missing its cover. Case dimensions: 4 3/4" x 3 3/4".
    Very good antique condition very good with some age related spots along the mat edges as seen and some speckling. The emulsion is completely stable with no signs of flaking.
