1834 - Signed by 204 citizens of Cleveland and the County of Cuyohoga, Ohio, "Resolved: It is the opinion of this meeting that the removal of the deposites was a violation of the rights of the Bank and of the public faith. The pecuniary distress which pervades the country is attributable to the unlawful removal of the public deposites and to the hostile attitude of the Executive towards the United States Bank."Seven pages, introductory page attached here.
