1834 - Roxbury Township, PA resolves "The United States Bank with its immense moneyed power, is an instituteion decidedly hostile to the liberties, independence, and free institutions to our country, and ought not  under any circumstance to be rechartered...Our much abused and grossly slandred President deserves and will receive the gratitude of the Americna people for his able and manly defense and support of the American principals, and that he may rest assured that the 'Notorious Patriotism of Pennsylvania' will never forsake him."
