    Description

    We are offering a Civil War Union Soldier 1/6 Plate Ruby Ambrotype in a Leather Case.
    The ambrotype has a brass mat with a patriotic theme
    - "JULY 4, 1776" at the bottom; "CONSTITUTION" along one side; "AND UNION" along the other side; Union flag with 30 stars on one side at the top, and bayonets on the other side; a sailing ship on the lower left; a cannon with cannon balls, a battle drum, and two American flags on the lower right.
    CONDITION: Ruby Ambrotype is in Excellent Condition, clear & bright.  Leather case is also Excellent with working clasp (spine looks like it may have been repaired).  Brass mat shows just a hint of tarnishing.
