    Description

    Civil War Soldier 1/6th plated Tintype. 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Image in excellent condition especially since it is approximately 160 years old. I believe he was likely from Jefferson County, N.Y. and a member of a New York  volunteer unit. No identification but found in Southern Jefferson County, N.Y. Not in case but plate is in excellent gold foil framing. (see photos)
