    Description

    Civil War CDV of Identified Officer Lester Hall who enlisted as Private 10/07/1861 in Co. F., 56th New York Infantry.
    He was promoted to Corporal, Sgt, and Commissioned as 1st Lt. into Co. G., 128 U.S.C.T on 4/6/1865.  The
    photograph was taken at that time.  It reads in period ink "Yours truly Lester Hall  1st Liet., Co. G  128th U.S.C.T."
    Photographers back mark reads "Blauvelt & Hubbard,   Practical Photographers, Beufort, S.C."
