This auction is for an original Civil War CDV photograph signed by William F Poorman of Company K, 61st PA. He wears a sash and corps badge. Exceptionally clean image but does have a small albumen chip top left. Take by J.C. Burnite of Harrisburg, PA. The 61st saw heavy action throughout the war, losing 237 killed or mortally wounded, and 101 men dying of disease. It saw action at Gettysburg and Antietam, and saw heavy losses at Fair Oaks VA, Wilderness VA and Spotsylvania.
