Antique Civil War Union Cavalry Soldier 1/9 plate Tintype w/Shield corps? Badge

For your perusal is an Antique Union Civil War Cavalry Soldier 1/9 plate Tintype wearing a Shield Badge.  Highlights have been tinted gold as pictures show.  1/9 plate in a full complete case
(But I believe the spine tape has been repaired). Looks like Image
has been
shellacked or
clear coated at some point and is in overall very good condition and if held at an angle you can see mild
aging
in a spot, but as you can see it doesn't impact the image when displayed(see picture #6). Also, when removed you can see that one corner edge of the brass frame surrounding the image is detached (see last picture).  This is a consignment item and I am happy to help sell it!  Please see pictures and happy bidding!
