Description
This is an original photograph, cabinet card size (4 1/4” x 6”). Back stamped in gold print: “J.C. McCurdy, Photographer, Morgan Street, Boonville, MO. (Missouri) 1863”. Dated cabinet cards from the Civil War are hard to find. Photo taken in a studio. Boy soldier wearing uniform, long coat, matching pants, quantity five (5) Brass coat buttons, collar device with small two (2) brass buttons, and a Kepi hat. No insignia on Kepi. No boys soldier name identified. Very good condition with no visible chips, no cracks, no creases, no missing section. A light staining here and there, some minor scuffs and marks, a small grab. impression at top maybe from being framed once. Still very displayable and nice. See all photographs and details as there are no returns. Great image. This is an original not a reproduction! Boy soldier is maybe only 13 or 14 years old.
