Rare and original, 1931 John Deere Farm Machinery Advertising Brochure / Letterhead Stationery advertising John Deere Plows No. 5 and 6. This fascinating combination Letterhead Stationery and Promotional Flyer measures approx. 8 1/2” by 11” and is printed in the form of a four page, folding Lettersheet. The front page features a pictorial letterhead featuring an image of a John Deere Tractor plowing a field using a John Deere No. 5 or 6 Plow. Text in the letterhead reads “You Can’t Farm Better than You Plow”. The inner 2 pages of the Brochure / Lettersheet feature seven images of John Deere Tractors and Plows along with extensive advertising text. This Advertising is titled at the top “The Choice of Power Farmers Everywhere! / John Deere Nos. 5 and 6”. The back page is blank except for the numerical designation “C-32 – 1931” dating the item to 193.
We have never seen this particular piece of John Deere Advertising before but it appears that this was meant to be used as an illustrated Letterhead Stationery and an Advertising Brochure – a smart marketing idea!!
This wonderful 1931 John Deere Advertising Brochure / Letterhead Stationery in excellent condition – clean and crisp and very well preserved. It i9s intact, sound and unused.
