AUSTIN , TEXAS
during the year of
1881.
It has an affixed old green 3 cent stamp in the upper right corner.  It has two old 3 cents POSTAGE DUE stamps in the upper left corner. There is a stamped mark on the front that has a circle around it that reads "DUE 6".   The postmark on front of envelope is Austin, TEX, Aug. 30, 1881.
The back of the envelope has
a
RPO
(railroad post office) postmark
for
DENISON & HOUSTON
(railroad), Aug. 31.
This envelope is made out to Mrs. R. A. Duncan of Kosse, Texas.
CONDITION:
Envelope was opened across the right side, all the way across the bottom and half way up the left side.  Top is unopened.  This envelope has flaws and is sold AS IS in the scan.  The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the envelope.
